Alcontra Trading & Company has been selected as the sole distributor of TRANSTECH (formerly known as SIEMENS) in Qatar.  TRANSTECH has been accepted and included in Kahramaa’s approved vendor list.  They have had worked on several projects previously and continuously supplying transformers and other electrical materials to meet the national regulation and customer’s specific needs.  Alcontra is specialized in the supply of high quality Oil Immersed & Dry type distribution of Transformers and Package Substations.  Our service does not stop on production and supplying of materials, we make sure that the manufacturer administers testing procedures according to international standards using high range of testing equipment and instrument to guarantee the performance and safety of the transformers.  This is also to ensure that we meet the customer’s specifications and design expectations.  Mainly three types of testing are done -  routine test, type test, and Special test of transformer.
